The Hellbrunn Summer Palace did not serve Archbishop Markus Sittikus (1612 – 1619) as a residence and not for governing – he had it built for pleasure! Then as today Hellbrunn is seen for a place for the joy of life and celebrations. With one difference: everyone is invited nowadays to stroll through the park, to take pleasure in the trick fountains and to celebrate in the summer palace.
